More than just a pub, we are a charming “good pub” at the front with a large garden, great for your group photos or for the children we have a play area, nestled around the back surrounded by views of the peak district sits our exlusive wedding garden, fully licensed for an outdoor ceremony. Our purpose built function suite, finished with exposed beams, satin drapes and canelabra to add an elegant touch. This blank canvas decorated in neautral colours is ready for you to add your own personal style.

Our “Exclusive” Wedding Garden is proving a great success, adding a “Wow” factor to our wedding ceremonies. This private outside garden is licensed for civil ceremonies leads off the function suite and offers magnificent views over the countryside as a backdrop to your wedding. And, with the sun setting over the garden, it is the perfect place for both day and evening guests to enjoy. This year we have added sails across the seating area of the garden to protect guests from showers allowing this area to be used on even more occasions despite our wonderful British weather!

We are delighted to announce that we have twice been finalists and last year WON the East midlands best wedding venue of the year as voted for in the I Do Wedding Magazine. What is so nice, is that we were voted for this award by brides who have had or are having their weddings here… the most important people to us!

The team are on hand to help you plan everything from florists to food, which should help with all that wedmin!

You will see that we have an all inclusive packages which a lot of our brides use as a base from which to work; moulding it to suit their requirements. Others create their own unique menu, theme etc. for their special day. We are able to offer a wide range of menus to suit any budget and we would be delighted to discuss options further and show you around our venue. With over 30 years experience, we pride ourselves in a very personal service, getting to know each couple and their family so that all the arrangements blend together to create a very special day for everybody.
