Holme Pierrepont Hall is a stunning Grade I listed Tudor Manor House set within a secluded 30 acre estate, just a few minutes drive away from the famous Trent Bridge and City of Nottingham.

Home to three generations of the Brackenbury Family today, Robert and Charlotte Brackenbury look forward to welcoming you to their home, where couples can enjoy exclusive-use of the house and gardens, for the duration of their celebrations. At Holme Pierrepont Hall, we only hold one wedding at a time so on your wedding day, we can devote our attention exclusively to you and your specially invited guests.

Family-owned since the 16th Century when the house was originally built by Sir William Pierrepont, the Hall is steeped in heritage – with a stunning Grade II listed Courtyard Garden, formal grounds and some of the oldest brickwork in the county.

Licensed to hold both weddings and Civil Ceremonies in the house with up to 120 guests, we can also accommodate a marquee or tipi in our extensive grounds for larger gatherings for up to 500 people.

The oldest part of the house is the Medieval Lodgings – two rooms dating back to c.1500 with a unique atmosphere. With centuries old oak timber beams, leaded windows and original nooks and crannies, these rooms are loved by couples seeking an intimate ceremony or reception venue for up to 40 guests.

The light and airy Long Gallery upstairs, accessed via a Grand Charles II staircase is adorned with elegant antique furniture and family portraits. It’s the perfect ceremony and reception room and can accommodate up to 120 guests.

The Ball Room downstairs has a sprung dance floor with French Doors which open out onto The East Garden – perfect for partying and drinks receptions on the lawn.

The elegant adjoining Drawing Room is a popular room for guests looking to relax and chat away from any noisier celebrations.

The glorious gardens, which have featured in a number of magazines and TV programmes, provide a stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs. The Grade II listed Courtyard Garden blooms with colour in every season and the formally landscaped East Garden features extensive lawns and yew topiary.

While Holme Pierrepont Hall enjoys a tranquil setting in glorious seclusion, the venue is located just 15 minutes from Nottingham City Centre.
