The Kings Arms is a unique venue with the warmth and charm to make your wedding reception truly special.
Set in the heart of historic Berkhamsted, The Kings Arms dates back to the 18th century when it was a popular meeting place for local gentry and, latterly, one of the principal coaching inns in the town.
The Greene Room is our private function room which would be exclusively yours for your event. As well as your own private bar, we can accommodate 60 seated guests or 100 buffet guests. Just tell us what you want to achieve and we’ll make it happen.
Our attention to detail is legendary. From start to finish you will be looked after by your own dedicated Wedding Planner. On the day itself, you’ll experience a wonderfully warm ambience backed up by superb food and attentive service – altogether a truly remarkable experience.
We have 14 beautifully appointed bedrooms for your guests. The bedrooms are the oldest part of the building and are marbled with original oak beams, exposed brick walls and open fire places. All of our rooms, no matter what age, have been individually and sympathetically decorated to reflect the history of the building.
Every wedding should be unique, so at The Kings Arms, each wedding is planned from beginning to end, with you, as a bespoke event.
