For the grandest of weddings, the Law Society in the heart of London is the perfect setting. From the moment you arrive and stand in the vast portico of the impressive Georgian grade II listed building, you will feel a real sense of gravitas and grandeur. The prestigious venue, built in 1832, is sure to impress.

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships in a number of our rooms, for up to 200 guests. In the Reading Room, you and your guests can enjoy the exquisite décor and the imposing columns, with the exquisite detail illuminated by the daylight from the large atrium.

Your wedding breakfast and reception can be held in the Common Room. This room boasts a plethora of striking original details, from alcoves full of antiquarian books to candle chandeliers and two grand mahogany fireplaces. In addition, the stained-glass windows depicting Arms of the nine Inns of Chancery are a real feature of the space. The room, full of character, can hold up to 200 guests to dine and 300 to celebrate into the evening.

Every inch of the building is immaculately finished and majestically decorated. The magnificent red carpet stairway provides a charming location for a few of your important wedding photographs.

Catering for your wedding will be provided by renowned caterers CH&CO. They will create the most exceptional food to complement your day perfectly.
