A former textile mill in the heart of the charming Lancashire town of Clitheroe, Holmes Mill is a beautiful collection of buildings oozing with a distinctive character ideal for your dream wedding! Nestled away in the panoramic Ribble Valley, Holmes Mill dates back to the 19thcentury, and wears its Victorian industrial heritage with pride. Still boasting period features such as exposed beams, naturally textured walls, and of course the former mill machinery, their beautifully appointed function spaces give you and your guests a truly unique setting to celebrate your special day!
Holmes Mill is licensed to host your civil ceremony in their light-flooded Function Room, you can say ‘I do’ in front of up to 180 guests as they look on from reclaimed cinema seating. With a natural aisle, fantastic acoustics, and a minimalist décor, all eyes will be on you as you officially tie the knot!
Following your ceremony, you and your guests can make their way down into the Engine Room for a delicious wedding breakfast and evening reception. Offering a fantastic range of menus, the team at Holmes Mill will be on-hand to assist in any way you need to create your perfect wedding celebrations.
Once your celebrations have drawn to a close, Holmes Mill can offer you and your guests a wonderfully luxurious range of accommodation in their Spinning Block Hotel. With 39 individually designed bedrooms, it is the perfect place to wake up as newlyweds
