About The Courthouse
If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue in Cheshire, then look no further than The Courthouse; one of the most iconic buildings in the region. It has been restored and refurbished to a luxury standard emulating the building’s history and original grandeur, providing the perfect setting for your big day.
Licensed for civil ceremonies, you can say your vows in our Moneypenny Suite. With its classic blue and white colour scheme and large windows it exudes warmth and a homely feel. This room is also perfect for drinks reception, with its own portable vintage bar, and more intimate weddings for up to 60 people.
For larger weddings you can say ‘I do’ in the grand Courtroom and continue celebrations in this room into the night. With reception space for up to 550 within the venue, you can invite all of your friends and family to join you.
We offer bespoke, tailor-made weddings to suit every bride and groom on their special day, and our events co-ordinator and head chef will be on hand to bring it all to life. Simply let them know your wishes and desires for your day and they will do all they can to make it happen.
We would be delighted to help you with all the elements needed to create the big day you have always dreamt of, including flowers, entertainment and photography.
With three luxury bedrooms, featuring breathtaking design, and eight more to come, you will be able to spend the night with us and invite your nearest and dearest to do the same.
The Courthouse is located in the centre of Knutsford with 40 on-site car parking spaces. Adjacent to the town’s train station providing direct access to Manchester, Chester and Liverpool.
