About St George’s Bristol
Overlooking Great George Street in the centre of Bristol, this world-class concert and music venue offers a fantastic location for post-ceremony champagne and canapés, bespoke formal wedding breakfasts and more relaxed evening reception parties. This stunning, Greek Revival, Grade II*-listed ecclesiastical building can cater for magnificent, romantic wedding receptions or celebration parties of up to 180 guests, with ample space for additional evening guests.
The venue is undergoing a £6.5M renovation project to create new spaces and modernise facilities. The new, multi-million pound, garden pavilion extension will be available to wedding parties from Spring 2018, and offers sophisticated modernism, designed by award-winning architects.
The Grand Concert Hall is an ideal setting for an elegant wedding breakfast, and the romantic walled gardens are quite perfect for celebratory drinks and photographs!
St George’s Bristol is a stunning venue in the heart of Bristol. We are primarily a music venue, hosting over 240 concerts a year, across a huge variety of genres including classical, folk, jazz, world, and contemporary music.
St George’s Bristol is also a charity, and the revenue generated from private events, such as weddings, goes towards supporting our artistic and educational programmes, as well as maintaining our gorgeous building and grounds.
