The Hall, built in the 15th century, has stood for decades as a testament to York’s intriguing medieval past and having been lovingly restored to its full splendour, it is a magnificent space in which to spend your special day. With a combination of original wooden beams, exquisite stained glass windows, historic pannelling – plus a magical atmosphere – your guests will be wowed by their surroundings!
Whether grand or intimate, the Hall has a choice of rooms for you to host your celebrations. The Great Hall, with its fine timbered ceiling, minstrels’ gallery and huge, working open fireplace is ideal for larger weddings, while the Small Hall is perfect for your ceremony, post-reception dancing or to host more intimate weddings. Whichever you choose, our catering partners will work with you to create a range of mouth-watering food options, from a bespoke buffet to a formal baquet – the choice is yours! There’s a fully-licensed bar too.
