The Wilburton Inn is an elegant historic estate in Manchester Village, Vermont with a 1902 mansion, rolling lawns and gardens and fabulous views. We can accommodate 200+ guests for a wedding reception and up to 150 overnight guests on our 30- acre hilltop and nearby mansions. As you ascend the maple-lined driveway, past the stone walls and cascades of River Road, the views of the Battenkill Valley stretch below, and the vistas of the Taconic and Green Mountains surround you.The views are breathtaking. The1902 Mansion with its romantic gardens is the perfect setting for your Vermont wedding. You can plan a full weekend of activities for your family and friends to enjoy together, including rehearsal dinner, bonfire, brunch, farm tours, hikes etc — plus pool, tennis and lawn games right on our property. There is room to roam surrounded by thrilling mountain views, sculptures and art to inspire your creativity. Your ceremony can be outdoors, with a grand entrance down the marble staircase, with the mountains as a dramatic backdrop.The views from our hilltop of the surrounding mountains are gorgeous in every season. For the reception, choose either the Mansion Reception (with dining and dancing in the Mansion’s lovely outdoor awning-covered terrace and connecting indoor dining rooms) or the new Marble Terrace Pavilion, a breezy tented outdoor space with a floor of local Vermont white marble, mountain views and room for 200+ guests to dance and dine all together. The Wilburton’s experienced wedding team work closely with each couple to create a unique celebration reflecting your taste and style. Our chef creates delicious menus ranging from rehearsal dinner BBQ to elegant banquets, all of which can be customized to your taste. We are affiliated with Earth Sky Time Farm, which bakes wood-fired organic bread served at breakfast and events, and can provide farm-to-table vegetarian catering. Our wedding team can recommend wonderful local florists, photographers, musicians etc or work with the team of your choice.
