Rockbeare Manor is a luxurious regency house located in Devon near Exeter which specialises in hosting stunning weddings and other special events. This wondeful venue is set in more than 100 acres of Devon parkland, just a few miles from Exeter. From the moment you enter the property, you will feel as if you are travelling through time to an elegant manor with a tree-lined driveway, period features and private balcony exclusively for your use. Everything about the house has been thoughtfully arranged, from the Grand Entrance Hall to the Bridal Drawing Room and light-filled Ballroom, all of which have a magnificent outlook onto the grounds. Our Billiard Room has been designed especially with the groomsmen in mind, making it the ideal place to gather before the proceedings commence. Outside, there are far reaching views of the Haldon Hills, Haldon Belvedere and even Cawsand Beacon on Dartmoor, along with a picturesque lake, manicured lawns and formal terraces. The backdrop for your wedding couldn’t be more perfect. Everything about Rockbeare Manor is devoted to you. The Rockbeare experience is all about going the extra mile and delivering the highest possible level of service – because we never forget, it’s the little things that make a big difference. Facilities and capacity Whether you have 50 or 160 guests attending, we have a choice of places to hold your civil ceremony, including the stately Dining Room which seats up to 100 guests, within our bright ballroom or outside under the archway of the South Pavilion. After your ceremony, why not enjoy drinks and canapes in our beautiful gardens looking out towards the manor’s grand fountain. If the weather isn’t sunshine, guests can experience our billiard room and play a game or two before enjoying photos in our elegant dining room complete with orighinal chandelier. When time for dinner, your guests will be seated by your event manager who will direct them to the modern yet tasteful ballroom. Experience locally sourced food, cooked fresh by our chefs for your guests. In the evening, guests can party with you in the ballroom or those who are searching for somewhere warm and cosy may find themselves in our library- complete with large sofas and a toasty fire. After the party, guests don’t have to rush off as we have thirteen bedrooms available onsite, some with impressive feature baths or dual aspect views of the parkland, others with spacious dressing areas and huge windows dressed in the finest fabrics. In the morning a hearty breakfast awaits in the grand Dining Room – beautifully fresh fruit platters and juices, warm pastries, natural yoghurt and a selection of premium cereals, followed by a choice of cooked breakfasts. We’ll give the utmost care and attention to every aspect of your day with our professional, bespoke service, allowing each and every moment the freedom to be unique and personal.
