Previously a charming tavern that dates back to the 15thCentury, The Bell Hotel is a characterful venue in the heart of Thetford. Boasting most of its original features, the hotel provides you with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with authentic attributes complimented by modern furnishings. With 46 en suite bedrooms available, our hotel is a charismatic setting for your wedding day and offers the ultimate relaxing retreat for both you and your guests.

Here at The Bell Hotel we have three function rooms available, allowing us to cater to your needs. We can accommodate up to 100 guests, extending to 120 evening guests which is ideal for a larger wedding party. We have a license to host civil ceremonies, so we can cater for both your wedding service throughout the daytime and your celebratory evening reception. We would highly recommend our DJ for your evening reception too, however we have no objection and if you wish to bring along your own disco or band you can, provided it brings with it a public liability insurance.

We understand that every single detail counts on your wedding day, and with this in mind we have made sure that our wedding packages can be adapted to suit your requirements. Additional extras are available on request, whether they may be chair covers, a guest book, or a master of ceremonies – we would be happy to put you in touch with a number of our local suppliers.
