Ray’s on the River is a waterfront wedding venue located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Since 1984, this venue has been hosting couples on their big day. Now, you too will be able to experience a truly romantic wedding ceremony and reception surrounded by scenic views. After all, what better way is there to begin your new life together as a couple than along the stunning and serene Chattahoochee River? Facilities and Capacity When you select Ray’s on the River as your wedding day venue, you will receive the option of choosing between an indoor, covered outdoor, or uncovered outdoor site. If you want to exchange your vows right in the midst of the river’s water and gardens, you can select the Riverside Garden site. Couples can enjoy this lush space with up to 120 of their friends and family. The Grand Pavilion site also provides your wedding party with views of the Chattahoochee River. This space will keep your guests comfortable because it’s temperature controlled. It even features enough space for entertainment with areas for a band, DJ, and a dance floor. The Grand Pavilion can accommodate a large wedding party with enough room for up to 180 of your guests. If you are planning a smaller ceremony or reception, you are welcome to use the private Dining Room. The semi-private River Room is another indoor option for smaller sized ceremonies. Just like the outdoor spaces, these provide you and your guests with beautiful river backdrops. Services Offered Ray’s on the River welcomes couples for all aspects of their wedding. Couples can plan and host their bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner on the property. Intimate elopements can be hosted here as well. The staff can help you along the way with services such as setup and cleanup. The facility also is equipped to provide each couple with both an in-house bar and in-house catering services.
