About Bolton School Weddings and Events
One of Lancashire’s oldest and grandest venues, Bolton School is a truly magnificent place to say ‘I do’. With a rich history dating back to 1516, the grade II listed building offers everything you could need for your wedding day.
Every wedding we hold here is tailored to your needs and requirements. The flexibility we offer means that we will assist you in creating a bespoke wedding, unique to you. You will be in the safe hands of our experienced and dedicated wedding team who will be with you every step of the way to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Yours will be the only wedding at Bolton School on the day. Our exclusivity policy means that all of our team’s attention is on you, your day and how we can make it truly memorable.
We are licensed to accommodate civil ceremonies and have two fantastic rooms for you to choose from. The Great Hall has stunning original features and a majestic atmosphere. The grandeur of church features, combined with a contemporary style, provides a unique feel to the room. Alternatively, our Arts Centre Main Hall is a restored banqueting hall with an intimate, romantic ambience and a perfect location for your ceremony.
For your wedding breakfast all of our menus are freshly prepared by our catering team and offer a wide variety of delicious dishes allowing you to create a menu to give you and your guests a remarkable dining experience. You can also enjoy a glass or two from our great wine selection.
