About The Hay Loft at Allerton Manor Golf Club

The Hay Loft is situated above the Golf Shop and The Old Stables Restaurant at Allerton Manor Golf Club in the leafy south Liverpool suburb of Allerton and is the perfect setting for an exclusive and intimate wedding.

The Grade II listed building is the former bar of the Golf Club and was originally a store area for the stable hand who used to look after the horses of the Fletcher family who the estate was originally built for in the 1800’s. The Fletcher family sold the Golf Club to Liverpool City Council in 1920 and became Allerton Park Golf Club in 1924.

In November 2015, Allerton Golf Trading Ltd became Liverpool City Councils official golf operating partner and took over the management of the estate and the golf course was renamed Allerton Manor Golf Club.

Refurbishment work started in The Hay Loft in 2017, the original oak beams and floor were restored, and new features were added to bring a more modern feel to the room. The design team were keen to ensure the space retained its unique and original character yet had a contemporary feel to it. The addition of the arched window and real fireplace lends itself perfectly to this luxurious space.

The Hay Loft is an approved wedding venue in Liverpool for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships and can hold up to 80 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and a further 40 guests for the evening celebrations.
