Nestled in 150 verdant, picturesque acres, The Byre is a stunning marriage of rustic 19th-century charm and contemporary convenience. The experienced and dedicated team at The Byre at Inchyra understand that no two couples are the same and that’s why no two weddings should be the same.  Weddings at Inchyra are exclusive – there will be nothing else happening here for the duration of your wedding so that your wedding is the centre of our attention. The reassuringly experienced team at Inchyra are on hand from booking your wedding to the wedding day itself to give you help and advice wherever and whenever needed.  And you will also be able to take advantage of the endless options that we have available to help you bring your dreams to reality from an outside ceremony to cosy on-site accommodation to our Decorating Store to partying through the night, at Inchyra pretty much anything is a possibility.   The Byre itself is a wonderfully picturesque converted cattle barn, bursting with original features.  And although it is essentially a big square space, different areas and levels within mean that it is exceptionally flexible and will happily accommodate weddings from 50 to 180 people, with the ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and party all comfortably catered for.  The Byre still boasts its original stonework walls and exposed wooden beams and the easily accessible roof beams mean that it is easy to hang decorations giving a wealth of stunning possibilities for flowers, foliage and lighting. There are no restrictions in Scotland on where you can hold a wedding ceremony so the possibilities here are endless.  The intimate and chapel-like Stable Room can sit up to 110 guests to see you say ‘I do’, enveloped in the wooden beams and old brick and stone walls of the original stables.  Or, if you have more guests, you can let your imagination run riot in the Lower Byre area where a wealth of possible settings are available for larger ceremonies.  Or maybe take the ceremony outside to one of the many many options we can offer – perhaps on the Byre Lawn itself, maybe the sweeping lawn in front of Inchyra House itself, or the magical Walled Garden with its utterly romantic Apple Tree Aisle.  The choice is yours.   And if you want to stay on site, you and your guests can move into the pretty and cosy Stable and Garden Cottages, while the fabulous new Stable Yard Bridal Suite provides a stunning setting for the wedding night itself.  And if you want more guests to stay on site, why not use our breath-taking grounds for a bit of glamping!
