With multiple venue options at Bluebell Railway, one of the biggest choices you’ll make is where to host your ceremony and reception. When it comes to the vows, you’ll have the selection of either the 60-capacity Birch Grove Suite at Sheffield Park Station, or the smaller 40-capacity Waiting Room at Horsted Keynes Station. Both are stylishly vintage venues, the perfect place for a quirky couple to wed.
From there you’ll make your way to the train platform for a drinks reception, as your afternoon guests arrive. Waiting for a train never felt so good! And from there it’s all aboard the train, as you sit down for a wedding breakfast with a difference! Journeying through the gorgeous Sussex countryside, you’ll be treated to either a luxury silver-service luncheon, or a traditional afternoon tea – the choice is yours. For those with big guest lists, adjoining carriages can be attached to accommodate everyone.
The fun doesn’t end as the train pulls back into the station. With plenty of green space at several of the Bluebell Railway station, why not hire a marquee, or simply put on a BBQ for your guests come evening?
