St Edmund’s School in Canterbury is the perfect choice for a quintessentially English wedding, with our beautiful setting ideal for both intimate events and grand celebrations.
The venue, set within 62 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens, offers an unrivalled view over the historic city and cathedral of Canterbury and our spectacular setting provides the perfect backdrop for your cherished wedding photos.
The striking interiors complement the impressive architecture perfectly and the grand building offers a number of locations for your day, including the elegant drawing room and oak-panelled dining hall.
St Edmund’s School is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and vow renewals with up to 120 guests. If you opt for an outdoor celebration, the Bath limestone colonnade offers an elegant setting, while the grounds can accommodate a beautiful marquee for your reception.
Offering a select few dates per year, during the school holiday periods and only holding one wedding per day, you will enjoy a private celebration with your guests and benefit from the undivided attention of our dedicated staff.
