Built in 1928, Lakeside Hall at Fort Ritchie was the Officer’s Club for the Army base before being shut down. Lakeside Hall at Fort Ritchie has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, wood floors and wooden walls and the main hall has high ceilings. There is a separate bar space where the cocktail hour is held. Most couples choose to have the ceremony on the deck with Lake Royer in the background. However, some couples are creative in choosing the pier, grassy area under the trees or the castle to hold the ceremony. After getting in at 8 AM to set up you can get ready in the bridal and groom suite. You have the hall until midnight. Choose from 7 different caterers to fit your budget and taste.
