Cherished Wedding Venues is a UK-registered business. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Our Services

We provide a platform that:

• Allows couples to search, compare, and enquire about wedding venues across the UK.
• Allows venue owners to list their venues, manage enquiries, and access marketing tools.
• Provides editorial content, recommendations, and planning tools for wedding planning.

We act as an intermediary — we connect couples with venues but are not a party to any agreement between a couple and a venue. We do not guarantee availability, pricing, or the quality of any venue.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. For Couples

Using the Directory

• Browsing and searching venues is free.
• Sending enquiries to venues is free.
• You may save venues to a shortlist and compare them.
• Information provided in enquiries will be shared with the selected venue(s).

Enquiry Guidelines

• Enquiries must be genuine and related to planning a wedding or event.
• You must not use our enquiry system for spam, advertising, or harassment.
• We cannot guarantee a response from venues, though most respond within 48 hours.

5. For Venue Owners

Listing Your Venue

• You must have the authority to list the venue on our platform.
• All listing information must be accurate, current, and not misleading.
• You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date, including availability and pricing.
• We reserve the right to edit, suspend, or remove listings that do not meet our quality standards.

Subscriptions & Payments

• Premium features are available through paid subscription plans.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice.

Enquiry Response

• You agree to respond to genuine enquiries in a timely manner (ideally within 48 hours).
• You must not use couple contact information for purposes other than responding to their enquiry.
• Response times and rates may be publicly displayed on your listing.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

• All content on the Site (text, images, logos, design) is owned by or licensed to Cherished Wedding Venues unless otherwise stated.
• Venue owners retain ownership of their venue photos and descriptions but grant us a licence to display them on the Site.
• User-submitted reviews and content remain the property of the user, with a licence granted to us for display.
• You may not scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Site without our written permission.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Site.
• Interfere with the Site's operation or other users' experience.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

• The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of venue listings.
• We are not responsible for any agreements, disputes, or issues between couples and venues.
• Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Site.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms
