Abington Park Museum Weddings, located in Northampton, offers a unique and elegant setting within its Grade-I listed rooms for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, and receptions. The dedicated staff are committed to delivering the highest level of service, ensuring your day is truly memorable. Each couple receives personal attention, with the team guiding you through every detail to make your celebration perfect.
Weddings at Abington Park Museum can be held in one of two rooms. The Great Hall, built by the Bernard family and dating from between 1496 and 1508, stands out for its impressive roof structure adorned with angels holding shields. This historic hall accommodates up to 75 people seated theatre-style for ceremonies, or 60 seated at round or rectangular tables for wedding breakfasts or receptions.
The Thursby Room, added during the 1670s as part of John Harvey Thursby's alterations, offers an intimate atmosphere. Once divided into a Drawing Room and Breakfast Room during the Victorian era, it now provides a charming space for informal wedding breakfasts or smaller ceremonies. The room can also hold up to 75 guests for ceremonies or 60 for seated receptions.
