Agriturismo Il Grande Portico

Agriturismo Il Grande Portico is a charming 18th-century farmhouse, beautifully restored and situated just eight kilometres from the historic centre of Vicenza. Embracing tradition and the local area while catering to the needs of modern couples, the venue offers a captivating setting for your special day. Guests can enjoy their reception in the enchanting hall with a fireplace, or during the warmer months, outdoors in the garden, perhaps beneath the portico surrounded by splendid glass windows that reflect the building’s original style.

The agriturismo provides tailored wedding menus, complete with table arrangements, musical entertainment, animation, and floral decorations. The menu is crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the agriturismo’s farm or local producers, offering specialities such as Grumolo rice, home-raised meat and vegetables, traditional pasta dishes, and homemade desserts like fruit tarts and apple cake. Both daytime and evening weddings are welcomed, with the venue able to create an evocative and romantic atmosphere.

There are nine guest rooms and two mini apartments available, each with a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast included—featuring homemade pastries, jams, and cured meats. The estate also offers meeting rooms, a small library with regional guides, and private parking. Guests have access to local attractions and activities, such as cycling, visiting historic sites, and enjoying nearby swimming pools, tennis courts, golf, and a riding school, making it an ideal setting for memorable wedding celebrations.
