Alpheton Hall Barns offers couples exclusive access to its grounds for 48 hours, ensuring each wedding is truly personal and never rushed. Unlike many commercial venues, the barns host only one wedding at a time, with no corkage fees or unnecessary restrictions on choosing suppliers. The venue features separate ceremony and reception spaces, so guests are never left waiting or moved outside while the spaces are reorganised. With capacity for 200 for both the ceremony and meal (and licensed for 250), Alpheton Hall Barns can comfortably accommodate both large celebrations and intimate weddings for 40, without smaller parties feeling out of place.

Set in a rural location just one mile from the main road, Alpheton Hall Barns is accessible by double decker buses and artics. The barns are reputed to be among the oldest timber framed barns in Europe, with origins dating back to Aefflaeda, sister-in-law to Edmund I, who settled in the area after the Battle of Maldon in 993. Thoughtfully restored, the barns feature oak from the original estate, combining timeless character with modern amenities such as fibre internet, discreet high-tech PA systems, lighting, and heating.
