Arnos Vale

Arnos Vale is a unique wedding venue nestled in the heart of Bristol, offering an enchanting setting for couples seeking something different. Set within a beautiful 45-acre garden cemetery established in 1839, the site features a blend of neo-classical mortuary chapels, gate lodges, and lush woodlands, creating a rare urban haven for wildlife and plants. The estate, now managed as a registered charitable trust, is cherished for its ecological significance and Victorian heritage.

You can mix and match between three distinct venues for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, or evening celebration. The Underwood Centre, tucked in the woods, provides a magical woodland atmosphere with birdsong, fairy lights, and a fire for toasting marshmallows. The Spielman Centre, with its grand steps and fusion of Victorian and modern glass design, hosts civil ceremonies for up to 90 guests and evening receptions for up to 140. The Grade II listed Anglican Chapel offers the grandest of spaces, licensed for Church of England ceremonies, accommodating 100 guests for seated receptions or 120 for evening celebrations.

Outdoor ceremonies are licensed in the Woodland Wedding space for up to 80 guests. Arnos Vale offers exclusive use, marquees or tents, and the support of an onsite catering team, Cleverchefs, providing everything from canapés to lavish formal dining. Weddings are available year-round, and bespoke packages can be arranged to create your personal celebration in a truly historic and picturesque setting.
