Athelhampton House has remained in private ownership for over five hundred years, offering an exceptionally romantic setting for weddings. The estate's gardens and historic rooms provide an ideal backdrop for your celebration, with facilities accommodating civil ceremonies, receptions and evening parties.
The Great Hall, dating from 1485, features impressive oak panelling, a substantial fireplace and a minstrels gallery. It can seat up to 80 guests for a civil wedding ceremony, with overall capacity for up to 150 people across the venue.
The in-house team of expert chefs prepare bespoke menus using the finest locally sourced ingredients. They also curate a carefully selected collection of wines and champagnes, available for you to choose from to complement your celebration.
