Balfreish Barns is set in the beautiful Highlands between Inverness and Nairn, just 9 miles from both towns. This exclusive venue specialises in unique rustic weddings, offering a charming country setting with a selection of stunning barns, landscaped gardens, and natural woodland. Balfreish Barns is perfect for wedding parties of up to 90 guests, as well as small intimate elopements, making it a distinctive choice in the Highlands. Bookings are limited each year to ensure a bespoke experience for each couple.

The venue provides a variety of picturesque outdoor spots for ceremonies and photographs. Should the Scottish weather take a turn, you can host your ceremony and reception inside one of the barns or even use all four barns, including Hamish's Tavern, depending on your guest numbers. The Long Barn has ample space for a ceilidh, ensuring a lively celebration whatever the weather.

Balfreish Barns offers several packages tailored to the size of your party and selected barns, granting access to most of the gardens. Portable wedding toilet hire and decorative props, such as whisky barrels, milk churns, fridges, rustic arches, and flower jars, are available if needed.
