Balmer Lawn Hotel

Balmer Lawn Hotel is a 4-star country house hotel in the very centre of the New Forest, Brockenhurst. Privately managed by the Wilson family since 1997, the hotel has been lovingly restored with a variety of features that make it a great choice for weddings in the Hampshire area. The building itself dates back to around 1800, originally a private house and hunting lodge, and was restored into its present day form in the 1850s.

The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, offering six function suites and an outdoor wedding chapel. The Beaulieu Suite is set apart from the main hotel, giving exclusive use of a separate wing, including your own entrance, bar and bathrooms for the day, plus three beautifully decorated rooms with private outdoor terraces for guests. It can host up to 120 people for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 for evening celebrations. The Savernake Suite, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous decked terrace, is suited to more intimate weddings—accommodating up to 60 for the ceremony and 75 for the wedding breakfast.

There are three luxury bridal suites offered complimentary to the couple, and 50 refurbished bedrooms for guests. The hotel also features the Saltus Spa, heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym, sauna, Finnish Jacuzzi, outdoor tennis court and indoor squash courts. Cuisine options range from formal three-course meals to BBQs and hog roasts, with bespoke menus available.
