Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton

Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton has a special connection with weddings, dating back over 70 years. After the Second World War, the hotel became a temporary home for GI brides awaiting reunion with their American husbands. In 1946, 213 wives and 224 children departed the Carlton for Southampton and a new life in America, giving the hotel a rich wedding heritage.

The venue offers eight beautifully refurbished event rooms, all featuring elegant décor, and can accommodate up to 200 guests. Five of these function rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, so couples can hold both their marriage ceremony and reception at the hotel. The property has 76 bedrooms, including double rooms, self-catering apartments for families, and a special sea-view room for newlyweds.

A team of experienced wedding coordinators provides comprehensive support with every detail of the planning, from florists and photographers to catering. The hotel also offers a range of special savings for weddings held in January to March, April, October and December, as well as for Friday and Sunday celebrations. Every wedding at Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton is treated as a unique event, with attention to individual details to ensure an unforgettable occasion.
