Lulworth Castle

Built in the 17th century to entertain royalty, Lulworth Castle stands at the heart of a family-owned estate in extensive rolling parkland on the Jurassic Coast. The castle has hosted seven monarchs throughout its storied history and now offers a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop for weddings in this iconic setting.

Available for exclusive hire, the castle provides flexibility for your celebration. Exchange vows in a civil ceremony within the castle itself, or choose the ancient church or historic private chapel in the grounds. The partially restored interior creates a charming canvas for your personal styling, from floristry and lighting to furniture and music.

After the ceremony, celebrate with your guests in this magical setting, dancing late into the night. The experienced team works with you to realise your vision, whether you opt for proven set-ups or create something entirely new. Every detail—from the menu and flowers to glassware and entertainment—is tailored to your preferences.

Your guests can extend the celebration by staying in luxury holiday cottages across the estate, ranging from thatched retreats with private terraces to traditional farm buildings with swimming pools.
