Lydiard House

Lydiard House is a stunning historic venue nestled within 260 acres of beautiful parkland on the western edge of Swindon. Perfect for couples who appreciate stately homes and grand country parks, this elegant Georgian house boasts centuries of history, dating back to medieval times. The property was remodelled in the 17th century and again in the 1740s, when a grand entrance and ornate details inspired by classical architecture were added, giving the house its distinctive character.

The venue offers two rooms licensed for ceremonies: the Bolingbroke Suite, accommodating up to 60 guests, and the Main Hall, suitable for up to 40 guests. Wedding receptions are held in the Luxborough Suite, which can host up to 100 guests. Lydiard House prides itself on providing a high level of client service, offering flexible wedding packages and the option to discuss your requirements in detail during a tour of the venue.

Bespoke menus and drinks packages are available, featuring both formal dinners and a selection of buffet options. All menus focus on fresh local produce and top-quality ingredients chosen by the head chef. Included in the wedding package are two guest bedrooms and a bridal suite, with an additional 34 en-suite bedrooms available for guests to book if required. Lydiard House also serves as a beautiful setting for conferences, private dinners, naming ceremonies, and parties.
