Ridgmont House

Ridgmont House is an enchanting venue situated on the outskirts of Horwich, set amidst five acres of private grounds with mature trees and lawns. This elegant building, with a history dating back to the early 17th century, combines timeless charm with modern comforts, offering an ideal setting for weddings and special occasions. Initially constructed by the Pilkington family and extended by Joseph Ridgway in 1801, Ridgmont House is notable for its unique Ice House, one of only two in Lancashire.

Inside, the ambience is bright and stylish, providing a beautiful backdrop for any wedding theme. Guests are welcomed by an impressive entrance hall adorned with wall paintings of lilies and orchids. For celebrations, The Ridgeway Hall can accommodate up to 160 buffet guests or 120 seated, and opens onto a classic flagstone patio. The upper floor offers the Willoughby Suite, a light-filled room with six windows and a stunning bay, ideal for up to 80 guests.

Ridgmont House specialises in bespoke weddings, offering personalised service and outstanding cuisine fit for all tastes and cultures, from Asian and Caribbean weddings to classic gatherings.
