The Bear Hotel

The Bear Hotel is a charming and historic venue set in the heart of the North Wessex Downs. The Riverside Suite offers the perfect backdrop for your celebration, accommodating up to 70 guests for your wedding ceremony and breakfast, with space for larger numbers at informal receptions. The Suite comes with its own conservatory, bar and terrace overlooking the River Dun, while the terrace and gardens provide a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs.

There are four different wedding packages to choose from, which may include a three to five course wedding breakfast, drinks package, DJ, evening disco, cake knife and stand, white table linen, master of ceremonies, and use of the bridal suite. Catering options feature traditional and seasonal cuisine, with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. Evening receptions can also opt for a buffet or midnight breakfast.
