Built in 1884, Curdridge Reading Room lies at the heart of Curdridge village and welcomes couples looking for a charming setting for their wedding celebrations. This historic venue has become a beloved part of the community and is surrounded by the scenic Hampshire countryside, with the adjoining Skinner Field providing acres of open space perfect for beautiful wedding photographs.
The venue’s Main Hall features elegant high ceilings and excellent acoustics, comfortably seating between 60 and 80 guests for a banquet, or up to 100 for an evening reception. The hall is equipped with a stage for live music, a sound system, and lighting. For more intimate gatherings, the Billiard Room accommodates up to 20 people, and for larger events, it can be used alongside the Main Hall. Outdoors, there is ample space to erect a marquee either in the car park or one of the two fields.
Fully licensed for the sale of alcohol and live performances, Curdridge Reading Room also offers fully equipped kitchens with all utensils and crockery provided for up to 110 guests. The venue is pleased to share the contact details of trusted local service providers, should you need any additional support to make your celebration complete.
