The George is a versatile wedding venue in Warminster offering a range of celebration styles, from formal and vintage to themed and humanist ceremonies. With over seven years of wedding coordination experience, Claire and general manager Laurie bring extensive expertise to every celebration, having hosted hundreds of weddings at the property.
The venue provides exclusive use of a private bar, personal entrance, function room, orangery, terrace and self-contained facilities. Civil ceremonies can be held for up to sixty guests in the orangery or eighty in the function room. The extensive gardens with riverside backdrop create an idyllic setting for photographs.
Accommodation comprises twelve en-suite hotel rooms, including family options, with breakfast included in all rates. For those seeking greater capacity, marquee weddings are available. Mid-week bookings qualify for discounted room hire rates.
