The Gloucester House

The Gloucester House has been a beloved seafood restaurant for over 55 years, specialising in North Atlantic cuisine prepared to perfection. Beyond its regular dining service, it has become a cherished destination for weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and anniversary celebrations.

The venue offers two distinctive event spaces. The Compass Rose Room is an indoor facility with a private entrance, dedicated kitchen, private bar, fireplace and coat room, comfortably accommodating 120 guests (up to 150 with table removal). The Café Seven Seas is a rustic outdoor space featuring separate restrooms, a private bar and stunning harbour views, comfortably hosting 150 guests (up to 170 with table removal).

Wedding packages include five hours' facility rental, full-length linens with coloured napkins of your choice, an event coordinator with unlimited consultations, fully stocked bar service, and a champagne toast. Dinner packages feature stationary and passed hors d'oeuvres, your choice of two entrées, salad, vegetables, starch, dessert, coffee and tea, with wedding cake plating and service included.
