The Out Barn

The Out Barn is a stunning blend of seventeenth-century heritage and contemporary design, nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley countryside. The original stone-built hay barn features home-grown oak beams, oak floors and pine tables, whilst a modern cedar-clad oval extension offers breathtaking views and genuine wow factor.

This exclusive-use venue comprises three independent spaces, including a quieter retreat in the original barn, the spectacular main oval area for ceremonies, and a distinctive bar with rustic wood finishes. The south-facing terrace features large fire pits and ample seating, perfect for post-ceremony drinks with remarkable views.

The Out Barn accommodates 150 guests for ceremony and dining, with capacity for a further 100 evening guests, bringing the total to 250. Additional space outside allows for marquees or tipis. From late June, the ceremony backdrop features a wildflower meadow in stunning colours. With a late licence until 1am and a privately owned seventeenth-century bridge over a private stream, this family-run venue delivers outstanding service and meticulous attention to detail.
