The Villa

The Villa, located in the picturesque Lancashire village of Wrea Green near Preston, is much more than just a scenic countryside hotel. Set amongst the rolling Lancashire hills, this former 19th-century gentleman's residence has been transformed into a country house that still maintains its quiet elegance and distinguished history.

For weddings, The Villa offers a variety of settings. Smaller celebrations for 12 can be hosted in the graceful Garden Suite, while the historical Villa restaurant seats up to 100 guests. Larger gatherings of up to 250 people can be accommodated in the Pavilion marquee, which holds a civil ceremony licence. The impressive gardens offer a picturesque backdrop for dining, and there is the unique option of a wedding breakfast prepared on an exterior wood-burning stove.

The Villa prides itself on excellent hospitality and fine dishes, with a dedicated wedding planner available to guide couples through every stage of their wedding planning. Accommodation comprises 31 spacious, air-conditioned rooms with superior en-suite facilities, as well as two beautiful suites and four fabulous state rooms, two featuring king-size four-poster beds and two with split-level mezzanine floors.
