The Tithe Barn is a charming and elegant wedding venue set in the tranquil village of Symondsbury in West Dorset. Sympathetically restored to enhance its natural character, the barn features a galleried area, floor-to-ceiling glass entrances, exposed oak beams and a wooden dance floor on stone flooring.
Licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, the venue accommodates up to 150 guests and benefits from a licensed bar. Its flexibility allows couples to dress the space entirely to suit their chosen theme and aesthetic.
The idyllic courtyard and gardens provide a peaceful setting for pre-dinner drinks and canapés, whilst the wooded grounds offer a romantic backdrop for photographs. An in-house Catering Manager presents a choice of menus including three-course dining, hog roast, barbecue or buffet options, alongside tailored drinks packages.
Symondsbury Estate also offers on-site accommodation in five-star luxury holiday cottages and farmhouses for guests.
