Delgatie Castle, an historic venue in Turriff, Scotland, offers an intimate and charming setting for small wedding celebrations of up to 50 guests. Steeped in centuries of history, the castle has largely belonged to the Hay family for over 600 years. Its origins trace back to around 1100, with the main tower and notable later additions. Mary Queen of Scots stayed here following the Battle of Cirrichie in 1562, adding to the venue’s rich story.
Weddings at Delgatie Castle are carefully curated, with the team supporting you throughout the planning process. They can help coordinate your minister, music, flower decorations, and any other service you require for your special day. There is also a chapel on the grounds, enhancing the venue’s charm and versatility.
Culinary needs are met by the castle’s own kitchen, where staff work closely with you to create a menu tailored to your tastes. All food is freshly prepared using local produce, including fish from Macduff and locally sourced beef and lamb. Vegetarian options are also available, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.
