Fasque & Glendye Estates present the magnificent 16th-century Balbegno Castle, nestled in the heart of the Howe O' The Mearns countryside near Banchory. This unique property is available for exclusive use, allowing you to make the castle and its impressive surroundings entirely your own for your wedding celebrations. With over a thousand acres of picturesque countryside encircling the estate, there is no shortage of breathtaking backdrops for memorable photographs.

The Great Hall, featuring vaulted ceilings and an open fire, can accommodate up to 60 guests for wedding receptions and as many as 95 for a seated ceremony. The formal dining room provides seating for 40 and serves as an intimate space for smaller ceremonies. Should you desire an outdoor celebration, the front lawn is perfectly suited for a ceremony in the open air or erecting a marquee tailored to your requirements.

Alongside exclusive access to the castle and its grounds, the team at Balbegno Castle is pleased to share their preferred suppliers from a trusted network, including marquee hire and caterers who are familiar with the venue and its surroundings.
