The Guildhall - Salisbury

Renovated to perfection in 2011, The Guildhall in Salisbury stands as a beautifully maintained Grade II listed building, complete with elegant 17th Century features. As the home of Salisbury City Council, it also offers couples an exceptional setting for their wedding celebrations, with ceremony, banquet, and entertainment all under one historic roof.

There are four licensed suites for civil ceremonies, each offering its own character. The Banqueting Hall impresses with crystal chandeliers, ornate masonry, and exquisite plasterwork, catering for up to 150 guests for a classic wedding breakfast, or up to 200 people for a more relaxed or evening celebration. The Grand Jury Room, overlooking Salisbury’s Market Square, is ideal for smaller occasions, hosting up to 50 for a civil ceremony, and pairs well with the Banqueting Hall. Oak Court is licensed for both ceremonies and civil partnerships, seating 60 downstairs and another 60 on the balcony. The Foyer’s cantilevered staircase creates a grand entrance for the ceremony.

The Guildhall is exclusively available for weddings, with no fixed bar or catering supplier, allowing you flexibility with every detail. Recommended supplier lists for florists, photographers, and car hire are available.
