The Tithe Barn, Browsholme Hall

With origins dating back to 1507, Browsholme Hall stands as the oldest family home in the area and offers a truly unique backdrop for weddings. Together with The Tithe Barn, this venue promises an exclusive and stylish setting for celebrations in Lancashire. The historic estate, considered one of England’s most romantic houses, ensures cherished memories are made against a backdrop steeped in history.

The breathtaking gardens, once immortalised in 1798 by JMW Turner, have only grown more enchanting with time. Civil wedding ceremonies can be held either in The Tithe Barn or the magnificent Regency Drawing Room of Browsholme Hall itself. For those seeking a traditional touch, beautiful local churches such as Saint Helen's in Waddington, Saint Michael's in Whitewell, and All Hallows' in Great Mitton are nearby.

Nestled near the hall and embracing rustic charm, the 17th-century Tithe Barn has been meticulously restored and transformed into a spectacular venue accommodating between 50 and 120 guests. The latest technical innovations and modern catering facilities combine to provide a splendid wedding experience. Couples benefit from extensive guidance and choice, from fireworks to experienced photographers, horse-drawn carriages, and even helicopter arrivals. Renowned award-winning caterers offer both classic and innovative cuisine, accompanied by a fine list of wines and drinks.
